Biography
Hi. I’m Miz S. I live with Mizter S. I teach first-grade in a Title 1 school.
When I first started this blog back in 2005, my girls, Sophie and Emma, were in their teens and my parents and my in-laws were all still alive.
Since then, there has been DEATH AND DESTRUCTION and a shit ton of elder-care posts. Our daughters have graduated from college, found employment, and gotten engaged.
Mizter S and I now live with my 92-year-old father in law in the house that my husband grew up in. My mother, who has dementia due to Alzheimer's Disease, lives in the house that I grew up in about 20 minutes from here. Don't worry, she has live-in care 24/7.
When I am not teaching first grade, having confusing conversations with my mother, or wasting time on the Internet, I walk around whimpering and helplessly flapping my hands while trying to Get Organized Now!
